William (Billy) Englund, Jr. is a Massachusetts native, who turned Charleston southerner in
2016. Billy attended Bentley College, in Waltham, MA, and received his degree in corporate
finance and accounting. He began his finance career at Dell Technologies, as an intern and
eventually received a full-time offer upon graduation. Billy spent over 19 years at Dell working as a Sr. Financial Controller, supporting many divisions and teams over the span of his career. Providing strong business support, building trusted partnerships, and providing strategic guidance is what attributed to Billy’s success throughout his corporate finance career.
Billy always had an interest in real estate after purchasing his first property in Palm Beach, FL shortly after graduation. In 2024, Billy decided it was time for a change. Billy teamed up with his wife, Mary Hunter, and together they formed The Englund Team at Carolina One
Real Estate. Mary Hunter has been a full-time top producing agent at Carolina One since 2019. She is excited to have Billy officially join her in real estate and bring his personal real estate experience and strong financial/customer focused background to better serve their clients.
Billy resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Mary Hunter, son William, and their westie namedWilford. Billy loves the outdoors and can be found in his free time soaking up the rays on the beaches of Isle of Palms or practicing his backhand on the tennis courts at Wild Dunes tennis center.
